FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and technology of materials converting electromagnetic emission, namely to luminescent metal-containing polymer compositions intended for transformation of electromagnetic emission. The composition comprises polymers of esters of (meth)acrylic acid and cadmium sulfide doped with calcium and/or strontium ions, wherein the calcium and/or strontium ions are present at a concentration from 1.00∙10-4 mol/l of the polymerisable composition to 2.0∙10-3 mol/l of the polymerisable composition.
EFFECT: invention allows producing optically transparent metal-containing polymer compositions exhibiting broadband luminescence in the wavelength range between 370 and 750 nm with a luminescence maximum in the green spectral range.
