FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device is fitted with the radiation pyrometer intended for automatic detection by difference of temperatures between metal and slag of finish of tapping of liquid metal through the outlet of the tap hole and start of slag delivery on the drain trough, the bed is made with grooves for movement of the tuyere in horizontal and vertical directions with change of angle of its inclination with a possibility of providing of prime tapping of metal with preliminary cut-off of liquid slag inside the working space of the furnace. The tuyere on its end has a fire-resistant tip inside which the nozzle formed by two coaxially located tubes is located. The internal tube on its external surface is made with auger-type thread.
EFFECT: invention allows to control more precisely gas-jet cut-off of slag at tapping of metal from the furnace by means of the mobile tuyere, and also to protect the metal surface from air oxidation in the furnace after slag cutoff and to minimise contact of the oxidized slag with metal.
