FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: slag processing unit contains the hopper, the device for extraction of "cake layers" and pieces of slag above 350 mm and the spherical mill. It is fitted with the conveyor for extraction of "sweat balls", it has on the working surface the magnetic elements consisting of sliding and fixed sets of permanent magnets placed in two parallel planes. The magnetic elements of the conveyor for extraction of "sweat balls" have magnetic flux with coercive force from 900 up to 1300 kA/m. The driven branch of the conveyor has the switch for closing of magnetic flux (the driven pulley is fitted with planetarily located non-driving rollers amounting from three to eighteen) and the switch for disconnection of magnetic flux. The unit is also fitted with rollers for crushing of low-magnetic material of dump metallurgical slag down to the size 0-1.0 mm, the batcher and the racks the working surface of which is fitted with magnetic elements with the coercive force from 1900 kA/m up to 3000 kA/m. Racks are placed at the angle from 0° to 75° to vertical line.
EFFECT: decreasing consumption of electric power and almost complete extraction of iron and ferriferous substances from dump metallurgical slag.
