FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: a bioplato for waste water treatment, a method for installation and a method for maintenance thereof are disclosed. The bioplato comprises a flowing water reservoir equipped with aeration and recirculation systems and a hydroponic biological filter floating on the surface of the reservoir. The filter includes an artificial plantation of higher aquatic plants on a supporting structure. The supporting structure consists of positive buoyancy blocks connected to each other. The blocks have pivotally connected modules. The external and internal frames of the modules are made of tubular and plate-like elements. The supporting elements are connected to the frames of the modules and interact with the root system of the plants and their stems. The modules are provided with lateral hinged elements and an axial hinged element. The blocks of the supporting structure are arranged with spacing from each other and are rigidly connected to each other by connections in the form of tubular rods. Each block consists of three or more parallel rows of modules. One module has a load bearing capacity of not less than 25-30 kg. The supporting elements for the plants in the module are in the form of flexible hexagonal grids. The blocks of the supporting structure, located at the beginning and end of the reservoir, are provided with anchors for fixation thereof on the surface of the reservoir.
EFFECT: longevity of the bioplato and easy installation and maintenance thereof.
