FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a moulding mixture for lead-acid battery separators, which contains white soot, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene, antioxidants RICHNOX 1010 and RICHFOS 168, calcium stearate, a dye and industrial oil. The mixture is characterised by that it further contains antioxidant Agidol-1; the mixture of antioxidants is primarily distributed in the volume of industrial oil and polymer matrix, with the following content of components, wt %: ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene 22.0-30.0; antioxidant RICHNOX 1010 0.2-0.35; antioxidant RICHFOS 168 0.2-0.35; antioxidant Agidol-1 0.2-0.4; calcium stearate 0.7-1.0; dye 1.4-1.7; industrial oil 13.0-20.0; white soot 49.0-60.0. The invention also relates to a method of producing the mixture.
EFFECT: invention provides high oxidation resistance of the separator in the medium of a lead-acid battery electrolyte owing to high degree of absorption of antooxidants with industrial oil and a polyethylene matrix and effective protection of the film of industrial oil from oxidation.
