FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing metal ceramic coatings on a dental appliance surface consists in the fact that an inner surface of a metal dental appliance is first exposed to abrasive jet machining, which is followed by ion-beam finishing of the outer surface of the metal dental appliance with the following layers applied successively: a metal layer, a transient heat-insulating layer having a thickness of 1 nm to 30 mcm, a transient layer of mixed metal nitride having a thickness of 1 nm to 5 mcm, layers containing ceramics, a colour-forming layer having a thickness of 1 nm to 30 mcm and a transparent biocompatible layer having a thickness of 1 nm to 30 mcm.
EFFECT: invention enables increasing the mechanical hardness, plasticity and coating strength with decreased thickness.
