FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for surface hardening of tools with sizes larger than those of the plant working chamber. Proposed plant comprises chamber, cathode units, water cooling system, vacuum system and workpiece spinning drive. It is provided with cylinder arranged at the front panel to extend said chamber, fasteners insulated from said chamber by ceramic sleeves and designed to set machined part horizontally. Besides, it includes locating clamp to be fitted at the workpiece and to engage with spinning drive equipped with the shaft to spin the workpiece. There are an insulated current feed conductor to transmit voltage from said shaft to workpiece and adapter flanges for turnover of cathode units.
