FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building and can be used for application of complex multi-component coatings on surface of parts. The installation consists of a vacuumised chamber with a charging port, a vacuum system, a device for ion-plasma and magnetron deposition and of an installed in the chamber facility for fixation and rotation of a treated part. A mechanism of fixation and transfer of a burner for plasma or flame plating or a nozzle for shot-blasting is assembled inside the chamber. Also cathode units of facilities for ion-plasma and magnetron deposition are arranged one above the other uniformly along ascending spiral, notably, vertical and horizontal distance L between geometric axes of neighbour cathode units is chosen from condition L=0.8…0.95(r1+r2), where r1 and r2 are radii of traces of plasma beams on surface of a treated part generated with neighbour cathode units.
EFFECT: upgraded quality and efficiency of coating application process.
