FIELD: physics, acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generation of magnetic resonance images, particularly, to design of gradient coils for such systems. Magnetic assembly (100) comprises magnet (102) designed to generate the main magnetic field for levelling of magnetic spins of subject nuclei of subject (502) located inside the area (504) of image generation. Gradient coil (103) for generation of gradient magnetic field for spatial encoding of magnetic resonance signal of magnetic spins of subject nuclei of subject (502) located inside the area (504) of image generation. Note here that gradient coil can be fitted in the magnet. Note here that said gradient coil comprises first section (112). Note also the first section of gradient coil comprises first stiff element (113) and second section (114) of gradient coil. Note that gradient coil second section includes also the second stiff element (115), connector (116, 300, 302, 304, 400) for connection of two halves of gradient coils. Note also that said connector includes resilient material (116). Note that said resilient material stays in contact with said first stiff element and second stiff element.

EFFECT: decreased noise of gradient coil.
