FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to efficient cooling of power converters. Invention claims the cooling process and system to cool power unit in power converter. Liquid cooling system comprises first cooling stage including first cooling elements connected to make the parallel cooling branches, mixing line for flow communication with parallel cooling branches for mixing of cooling flows from parallel cooling branches in said mixing line. Second cooling stage including second cooling elements for coolant flowing through cooling system. Second cooling stage is communicated with the first stage of cooling.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cooling.
