FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Method of controlling air flows in engine consists in that inlet air is passed through heat exchanger (601) and selectively supplied to inlet system (670) and exhaust system (672). Exhaust gases are passed through energy recuperation device (604) connected to heat exchanger (601) through heat exchanger (601) and selectively supplied to inlet and outlet systems (670) and (672). Intake air and exhaust gases flow is regulated through heat exchanger (601) in compliance with output of energy recuperation device (604). There are disclosed versions of the system for controlling air flows in the engine.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of energy losses due to increased load of engine.
