FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Method for the engine consists in the fact that the cooling liquid flow is controlled through the gas storage tank (100) connected to intake system (170) and exhaust system (172) of engine (168) by fluid medium. Cooling fluid flow is controlled in response to a request for secondary air feed into exhaust system (172) and / or exhaust gas recirculation into intake system (170) via tank (100) based on coolant temperature fed into tank (100). Also, cooling liquid flow is supported through reservoir (100) in response to that request is request for supply of secondary air to exhaust system (172) only to increase turbine rotation frequency (186), regardless of temperature of cooling liquid supplied to reservoir (100). Versions of the method for the engine and system for the engine are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing temperature control of contents of accumulation tank of gas mixing in accordance with operating conditions of engine.
