SUBSTANCE: clock mechanism (1), which includes a base plate (2) and a rod (3) for keeping the gear set (4) at the base point (P0), and means (6) of adjusting the height of said rod (3) relative to the plate (2) in the direction of the axis (D0) of rotation of the gear set (4) at a first point (P1), away from the base point (P0). Said height adjustment means (6) includes a screw (7) or a worm (7) configured for rotary movement around an inclined control axis relative to the axis (D0) of rotation, and a cone (80) or curved surface for converting movement of said screw (7) or a worm (75) and a pusher (9), configured to move in a direction (D9) parallel to the axis (D0) of rotation. A clock (100) which includes a mechanism (1) of said type.
EFFECT: designing a mechanism for mechanical adjustment of the vibration of a gear set of a clock mechanism without changing the dimensions of the mechanism.
