FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a catalyst and a method of purifying crude oil, and in particular to hydrocracking of heavy hydrocarbons in the presence of a catalyst to obtain products suitable for use and additional production of raw material for further processing. Disclosed is a method for hydrocracking in a suspended layer, comprising mixing a molybdenum catalyst precursor, a dealkylated aromatic liquid containing not more than 11.0 wt. % hydrogen, and an asphaltene liquid containing at least 5 wt. % of a microcarbon residue, to obtain a catalyst precursor concentrate or a catalyst precursor mixture, followed by heating to an elevated temperature to form a catalyst concentrate, wherein the dealkylated aromatic liquid makes in this case from 10 to 70 wt. % of the catalyst concentrate. By this method it is possible to treat aromatic raw materials, as well as raw materials, hydro-processing of which is traditionally very complicated; for example, residue of atmospheric or vacuum distillation, lower product after viscosity breaking, deasphalted materials of the lower product, asphalt, which does not meet the technical requirements, deposits from the bottom of oil storage tanks, tar sands, bitumen, etc.
EFFECT: disclosed method enables to provide a more efficient metal carbonated catalyst, which requires a lower metal concentration in the hydrocracking reactor in a suspended layer, which enables to process a wide range of heavy residual hydrocarbon material.
