SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to lighting installation controller and method of lighting installation control. Control unit is envisaged for lighting installation (14) consisting of detector unit (12) with field of view (20) and line (21) of vision. The control unit comprises also interface unit (11) for interaction with lighting installation (14) and processing unit (10) coupled to detector unit (12) and interface unit (11). Detector unit (12) is adapted for providing detection data containing parameters related to one or more identifiable beacons (2) within field of view (20) of detector unit (12). Processing unit (10) is adapted for association of detection data with a set of parameters for lighting installation (14) and for control of lighting installation (14) through interface unit (11) in compliance with a set of lighting parameters.

EFFECT: improvement of control system for environment lighting.
