FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a rubber mixture based on chloroprene rubber includes steam-heating rubber at 100°C for 1 hour and successively adding a modifier, zinc oxide and magnesium oxide. Before mixing the rest of the components, the mixture of steam-heated rubber and the modifier is exposed to microwaves at frequency 2.45 GHz for 20 seconds. The modifier used is a phosphorus-boron-nitrogen-containing oligomer, with the following ratio of components of the rubber mixture, pts.wt: chloroprene rubber - 100, zinc oxide - 5, magnesium oxide - 7, phosphorus-boron-nitrogen-containing oligomer - 3.
EFFECT: invention provides a chloroprene rubber-based vulcanisate having improved deformation-strength properties and fire-resistance.
