FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: heart valve prosthesis contains a case 1, in which a locking element in the form of two flaps 6 is placed. The flaps are connected to the case 1 by means of a component for their rotation. One element of the rotation component is made in the form of projections 13, located on the butt end surface 14 of the case 1. Another element of the rotation component is placed on opposite sides of lateral surfaces of the flaps 6 and is made in the form of a slot 17. The internal 3 surface of the case 1 in the prosthesis is formed by parts of two surfaces 22 of rotation, axes 23 of which are at a distance from the case 1 symmetry plane. The projections 13 are located in pairs on the perimeter of each of the surfaces 22 symmetrically relative to the plane of the prosthesis symmetry, with axes 24 of the lateral surfaces of the flaps 6 coinciding with the axes 23 of the surfaces 22. The external surface of the case 1 of the heart valve prosthesis is made oval-shaped, formed by two conjugate surfaces of rotation, axes of which coincide with the axes 23 of the parts of the surfaces 22.
