FIELD: cardiosurgery, replacement of affected natural cardiac valves of man. SUBSTANCE: cardiac valve prosthesis has ring-shaped body with internal surface and shut-off member in the form of two flaps. Each flap has rising surface facing blood backward flow, downcast surface facing blood forward flow, side surface and surface of joining. Flaps are installed in recesses of ring-shaped body by means of supports located on side surface. Recesses of ring-shaped body have side cylindrical surface and smoothly concave, for instance, spherical bottom. Improvement of flowing-over of prosthesis member and increase of reliability are attained by shape of recesses on body internal surface and making of turning limiters in the form of four projections brought out from zone of blood congestion. Hemodynamic efficiency are improved due to the fact that flap turning limiters are located beyond the prosthesis through hole without introduction of additional disturbances into direct blood flow. EFFECT: increased of reliability. 5 cl, 4 dwg
