SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering and is intended for active control of the elevation radiation pattern of an antenna array. The antenna array comprises a plurality of driving radiating elements that are spatially arranged having a pair of radiating elements fed with a radio-frequency signal predistorted so as to provide a controlled variation of the elevation radiation pattern of the antenna array. High power amplifier (PA) efficiency is maintained by adaptive predistortion, connected to each high power PA while providing beam tilt and side lobe control.

EFFECT: high accuracy of loss compensation.
