FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite materials based on fibre materials and water-based resins. The composite material consists of a substrate made of natural fibre having a felted structure, made of a heat-curable matrix formed from a water-based resin, and a foaming additive. The felt is needle-punched on two surfaces when feeding additional polyethylene fibre. After drying, the ratio of the resin and fibre is 60-80 wt % and 20-40 wt %, respectively.
EFFECT: invention improves the quality of the composite material owing to good uniformity of fibres, enables to control density and thickness and to obtain material with the required mechanical, thermal and acoustic properties, simplifies the method of producing and dismantling the material.
