SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing sour gas and liquid hydrocarbon with removal or reduction of sulphur concentration in them. Invention deals with method, including contact of flowing medium with effective amount of composition, which includes hydrogen sulphide scavenger, where quantity of hydrogen sulphide scavenger is sufficient for interaction with hydrogen sulphide, in order to reduce its quantity in vapour phase; product of reaction between hydrogen sulphide scavenger and hydrogen sulphide remains in dissolved state in hydrocarbon flowing medium and hydrogen sulphide scavenger contains:10-25% N,N'-oxybis(methylene)bis(N,N-dibutylamine), 50-80% N,N'-(methylenebis (oxy)bis(methylene))bis(N,N-dibutylamine and 10-25% N,N,N',N'-tetrabutylmethanediamine.

EFFECT: application of dissoluble in crude oil scavenger instead of water-soluble scavengers.
