FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: peripheral blood is taken at the disease-free stage. The taken blood is divided into two samples. One sample is exposed to ultraviolet light for at least 60 seconds. They are used to prepare blood serum samples which are analysed by marginal dehydration in polarised light. If observing aggregations of a spherolith crystal and an integrated ball of small weakly anisotropic granules in the unexposed sample, and spherolith crystals surrounded by loose clusters of weakly anisotropic granules in the exposed sample, the bronchial asthma exacerbation is predicted.

EFFECT: method is simple, objective, accurate and accessible, safe for the patient; it enables predicting the bronchial asthma exacerbation accurately at the preclinical stage when taking preventive measures is timely and enables avoiding the disease exacerbation.
