FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: during heat treatment heating for austenisation is performed to Ac3-(Ac3+50)°C, water cooling is performed to maximum 280°C along pipe length including upset ends, and heating for tempering is performed to maximum temperature (Ac1-15)°C.
EFFECT: increasing of strength properties within range of strength groups F, E, L, M, Q as per Russian Codes, and E, X, G, S as per international standard API Spec, increasing of the process productivity, exclusion of warping and cracking upon water cooling during items manufacturing.
