FIELD: pipe production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of electrically welded and seamless pipes fabricated on plants with pilger for fabricating petroleum-processing destination pipes and connecting parts immune to corrosion cracking in media containing sulfuric acid and carbon dioxide. Method of invention includes first heating above Ac3, quenching in water, second heating to a temperature within intercritical range Ac1-Ac3, cooling, and high-temperature tempering followed by cooling in air. According to invention, the first heating is performed to a temperature within the range from Ac3 to Ac3+50 C, pipes after the second heating are quenched in water, and heating step in tempering process is effected to a temperature from 550 C to Ac1.
