FIELD: experimental physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of experimental physics and can be used to study the high-speed interaction of bodies, for example, to simulate the impact of meteor-technogenic particles on the protective systems of spacecraft. The method includes the initiation of an explosive charge equipped with a blunted axial charge hollow with a metal lining with an insert coaxially placed in the hollow, the acceleration of the metal lining of the blunted axial charge hollow under the action of explosive charge products, the formation of a high-speed cumulative jet from the dispersed metal lining. The insert is made of a high-density material, equipped with a through axial channel, in which a throwable element is placed at a given distance from its beginning in the form of a plate having a deflection directed towards the charge hollow. The channel from the side of the metal lining to the element to be thrown is filled with a homogeneous material with low acoustic rigidity. The homogeneous material with low acoustic rigidity is compressed by a cumulative jet from the dispersed metal lining, which accelerates the element to be thrown installed behind it. The channel in the insert can be made tapering in the direction of throwing or made stepwise, while the element to be thrown is installed in a part with a smaller cross section.
EFFECT: providing research on the high-speed interaction of a compact element with obstacles in an extended speed range.
