SUBSTANCE: device is provided with an upper mechanism 1U of banknote processing, having a unit 10 of deposition, a unit 20 of identification of banknotes, and a unit 30 of extraction, a lower mechanism 1L of storage of banknotes, having a depository 40 of reuse, a front mechanism 1F of storage of banknotes, having a depository 50 of loading/return, a mechanism 60 of transportation, forming transportation paths, and a control unit that controls each of these components. The upper mechanism 1U of banknote processing, the lower mechanism 1L of storage of banknotes and the front mechanism 1F of storage of banknotes are made as separate units in the transportation paths in the transportation mechanism between each of these mechanisms and configured such that they are able to transport the banknotes to two sides from the mechanism 1U of banknote processing to the lower mechanism 1L of storage of banknotes and also from the lower mechanism 1L of storage of banknotes to the front mechanism 1F of storage of banknotes.

EFFECT: simplification of the device due to the possibility of transportation reversing.
