FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making and can be used in automated troops control system and by search-and-rescue teams at control over various vehicles off-road travelling. To achieve the result new operations are introduced: evaluation of a cross-terrain route section with a linear obstacle, analysis of overcoming linear obstacles, exclusion of arcs from the graph of possible routes when it is impossible to overcome the obstacles, calculation of the specified weight taking overcoming the linear obstacles into account, accounting of the environment heterogeneity in evaluation of the specified weight of the arc; A-star algorithm is applied.

EFFECT: technical result is the increase of reliability of the route plotting, as well as reduced time for the plotting with the use of vector maps.
