FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The lower funnel is placed into the vessel, with the narrow neck turned downwards, with a portion of groats poured into the funnel. The upper funnel, with the narrow neck turned upwards, is placed on top of the lower one, with a movable plug located in the upper funnel narrow neck. Water is poured into the vessel with a viscous floating liquid poured into the upper funnel narrow neck. Water is heated to the boiling point, with lightweight impurities rising upwards, together with steam bubbles, and remaining in the viscous floating liquid upon contact with it. The groats completely purified, the movable plug is lifted, with the layer of viscous floating liquid, together with the lightweight impurities, locked by the movable plug in the narrow neck of the upper funnel and is removed together with the latter. The recipe components are added to the groats; after cooking completion, the groats are discharged from the vessel, with heavyweight impurities remaining in the narrow neck of the lower funnel. The device consists of a vessel where a conic-shaped lower funnel is positioned, with the narrow neck turned downwards, whereon the upper funnel is placed, with the narrow neck turned upwards, with a movable plug positioned in the upper funnel narrow neck.

EFFECT: invention allows to remove insects and impurities from groats in the process of cooking.
