SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises the steps that follow. Multiple images of bank card face and rear are produced and transmitted to computer. Bank card quadrangle fragment corresponding to first six figures of the card number is identified. Bank card serial number defined by said first six figures of the card number is used to select the bank card fragments with ID data required for identification from the data base of coordinates. Said coordinates are compared with the data required for bank card identification. ID data are identified on bank card quadrangle fragments. In case identification is impossible on some bank card quadrangle fragment the latter is selected from the other image from multiple images of bank card face and rear.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of identification.
