FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmission of discrete information or transmission of data and is intended for application in devices for receiving (decoding) signals in communication systems, particularly in multipath channels. The method includes cross-correlation processing of received signals in each of M ≥ 2 decoding channels, where in at least one of the decoding channels cross-correlation processing of received signals is performed in a multichannel manner based on the Doppler velocity of the carrier of the transmitter relative to the carrier of the receiver; measuring the Doppler compression of the time scale in the received signal; based on the measurement result, correcting the time scale of the reference function used for each cross-correlation processing of the received signals in at least M-1 decoding channels; making a decision on the received code based on the results of cross-correlation processing in at least M-1 decoding channels. The positive effect is achieved by adjusting reference functions of correlators performing cross-correlation processing under the compression (or stretching) of the time scale of the received signal updated by the current Doppler Effect. This adjustment is realised by the same compression of the time scale of said reference functions.
EFFECT: enabling message decoding with moving receiver and/or transmitter carriers.
