FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: balancing method of rotor assembly when shaft is preliminary divided to sections, directions of the radial runout of the sections are determined, shaft and installed rotor elements are balanced. During the rotor balancing direction of the residual unbalances of the shaft sections and rotor elements is kept towards the side opposite to the maximum radial runout of the rotor shaft sections, at that residual unbalances are determined: for unbalance in middle from equation:
EFFECT: increased dynamic stability of the rotor during passing of the first critical frequency.
