FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in assembly of rotors of centrifugal compressors. Method of rotor assembly, in which shaft is separately balanced, directing residual imbalances diametrically opposite to place of maximum radial runout of its control band, and impellers, installing them on balancing mandrel with diametrically opposite direction of place of maximum beat of sealing surface of wheel cover plate relative to place of maximum beating of mounting surface of mandrel and directing residual imbalances diametrically opposite to place of maximum radial runout of seat mounting surface, and value of specified residual unbalance of wheel is determined from relationship:

where Idef is the value of the specified residual unbalance of the impeller, M is the impeller weight, ΔD0 is beating of shaft mounting surface, ΔDman - runout of the landing surface of the mandrel, k - the coefficient of mass-geometric, esp - specific imbalance.
EFFECT: disclosed invention provides reduced volume of works on assembly of rotor with provision of its specified accuracy.
