FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is applicable for training of students and dentists. A model of dental root is transparent and comprises a broken crown portion and root canals filled with gutta-percha resin along the whole length. The model of dental root also comprises an opaque removable crown or a washable opaque coating covering sides of the model of dental root, and grooves for fixation of the model of dental root into a model of jaw by means of a mounting screw. The model of dental root is configured to make it possible to process a dental root if the crown or opaque coating is provided, or to control in the absence thereof.
EFFECT: invention enables providing more effective training of dental root processing by making it possible to process dental roots in the both transparent, and opaque model of dental root, herewith controlling the processing procedure in the transparent model of dental root.
