FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to dentistry. Navigation template for reinforcing and restoring the stump of an endodontically treated decayed tooth is made using a transparent method of 3D printing from a photopolymer with the possibility of forming a gap between the hard tissues of the tooth to be treated and the internal border of the template when the template is positioned on the jaw. Template is provided with a channel located in a projection of the canal of the tooth to be treated, wherein the diameter of the canal corresponds to the diameter of the root canal of the tooth to be treated, and the length of the canal corresponds to the length limiting the immersion of the dental cutter to a depth corresponding to 2/3 of the length of the root canal. Inner border of the template in the projection of the destroyed tooth corresponds to the geometry of the circular ledge of the tooth and is made with the possibility of tight fit to the tooth.

EFFECT: enabling the possibility of performing the programmed preparation of the root canal with the subsequent restoration of the tooth stump using a fibreglass post and a composite material, due to the creation of conditions for isolating the surgical field from gingival fluid and saliva, during simultaneous preparation and restoration of the tooth stump, thereby providing reliable adhesive fixation and durability of the future prosthetic structure.
