FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle bumper includes draw timber attached to body frame throughout the width of its front part. The draw timber is made as solid steel semicylinder with axial opening which is attached to the frame by its flat diametrical side. The semicylinder is provided with a system of steel cylinders of smaller diameter with openings which are installed on their cambered outer surface immediately adjacent to each other. Each of the cylinders is linked with semicylinder by flexible closed piece of steel rope passed through their axial openings. Rigid fixation of cylinders on semicylinder is performed by means of single module creation of them by their all-round overlapping with cladding. The cladding is produced by elastoplastic material casting.
EFFECT: higher level of vehicle safety.
