FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: percussion bar is provided with series of through vertical bores. Steel U-like prop with sharpened bottom ends are fitted in every adjacent pair of bores from above. This prop is equipped with helical springs fitted on vertical sides. Said springs have their ends secured to prop crossbar lower surface and bar top surface at stressed-stretched state. Said bar is retained at equilibrium with the help of plate arranged at mid part and fitted with interference and locked between said surfaces. Said plate is made of material to fail at preset percussion force. Geometrical and physical parameters of these U-like props and springs are selected to ensure the required pressure by springs to be brought against the props ends to fit them to road cover at removal of prop retention plates from the bumper structure.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of vehicle against collision.
