SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biochemistry. Disclosed is a peptide with a length of 5-9 amino acids, consisting of SEQ ID NO: 3, 5, 6, 8 or 10, optionally amidated at its carboxy end. The invention also discloses a method of reducing activity of activated cell cycle checkpoint kinase and a method of reducing UV light-induced cell or tissue toxicity using said peptide. The invention discloses a composition and a cosmetic agent which include said peptide.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to protect against skin toxicity and/or mutagenesis which occurs from ultraviolet light exposure.
