SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, structures and layout of power supply units. Case for the power supply unit includes control compartment capable to receive one or more control components, transformer compartment placed close to control compartment and capable to receive transformer and battery compartment placed close to control compartment and transformer compartment. The battery compartment is designed to receive multitude of batteries assembled as multiple groups. The batteries are received into the battery compartment so that each battery in the first group is placed close to at least two other elements in the first group. Potential drop between the neighbouring batteries in the group may be less than permitted voltage deviation.
