SUBSTANCE: method includes controlling two or more lifting devices, particularly two cranes (1a, 1b), both as a group and separately. Each of the lifting devices comprises an electric motor (6a, 6b), which is controlled by a control system (3a, 3b) connected to a control panel (9a, 9b). Not less than two lifting devices are controlled through a common electric bus (7) using one control panel (9a, 9b). During simultaneous control of all lifting devices, one of the control panels (9a, 9b) is in an operating state and the other of the control panels (9a, 9b) is in an off-state. In order to switch to a mode for group control of all lifting devices, the mode for controlling each lifting device separately is terminated by turning off all control panels (9a, 9b) except one, which is left in an operating state and which is used to enter into the mode for group control of all lifting devices and the control of said lifting devices; in order to switch to a mode for separate control of each of the lifting devices, the group control mode is terminated using said control panel (9a, 9b) left in an operating state, which is then used to select the mode for separate control of each of the lifting devices, followed by switching to an operating state the other control panels(s) (9a, 9b) and then switching the control panel(s) into the mode for separate control of each of the lifting devices.
EFFECT: safe control of combined operation of at least two lifting devices, particularly cranes.
