SUBSTANCE: method includes dividing video content into fragments and determining the duration of said fragments at the first editing step. An assembling system removes reject fragments and merges the left fragments into new video content. In the method, the duration of fragments at each subsequent editing step is reduced compared to the duration of the fragment at the previous step. The coefficient of reducing the length of fragments at each subsequent editing step is in the range of 0.3-0.95.
