FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes forming, in a ferrielectric monocrystal plate, two monodomain regions with opposite direction of domain polarisation vectors and a bidomain boundary and includes contactless placement of the ferrielectric monocrystal plate with plane-parallel faces in an oxygen-free medium of the working space of the chamber of a photonic annealing apparatus between two light-absorbing screens, wherein the large faces of the ferrielectric monocrystal plate lie parallel to the longitudinal axes of the light-absorbing screens. Further, the method includes forming, in the chamber of photonic annealing apparatus, two opposite parallel light streams directed perpendicular to the large faces of the ferrielectric monocrystal plate and the longitudinal axes of the light-absorbing screens. The power of each light stream is set based on conditions of providing full heating of the ferrielectric monocrystal plate in a temperature range not lower than the Curie point but not higher than the melting point of the ferrielectric material. The ferrielectric monocrystal plate is then heated under given conditions and then cooled.
EFFECT: enabling formation of a bidomain structure with thickness greater than 0,4 mm with a given position and shape of the boundary in plates made of monocrystalline ferrielectric materials; plates made from monocrystalline ferrielectric materials with a bidomain structure improve efficiency and stability of converting an electric signal into mechanical elastic deformations, sensitivity and accuracy.
