SUBSTANCE: convective unit of a boiler includes two convective gas pipes with heat exchange surfaces that comprise rectilinear transversely streamlined corridor tube bundles and vertical risers, each of which communicates with appropriate upper and lower longitudinal headers of the boiler. Each vertical riser is separated by horizontal partitions into sections, each communicated with horizontal tube bundles, ends of which communicate with a freely sliding riser, communicated with the second pair of longitudinal headers of the boiler, on the sliding riser there is one cut plugged with the second end partitions, placed with a gap to each other. Besides, convective gas pipes in the lower part communicate to each other by a cavity of a settlement chamber of ash carryover.

EFFECT: intensification of heat exchange with simplified technology of manufacturing of convective gas pipes and their increased repairability.
