FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology and is designed to measure and record several components of forces of wheel and rail interaction. The device comprises a railway wheel set, resistive strain sensors connected diametrically into half-bridge strain-gauge circuits and placed at different sides from the axis on concentric diameters of the inner side of the wheel disc, strain-gauge amplifiers, a programmable logical controller, sensors of registration of transverse and angular positions of the wheel set relative to rails, a unit of synchronisation, a unit of signals transmission along a radio channel to a receiving device and an on-board computer. Half-bridge strain-gauge circuits are connected to strain-gauge amplifiers, outlets of which are connected to the programmable logical controller, which in its turn is connected to sensors of registration of transverse and angular position of the wheel set relative to rails and a unit of synchronisation of data of transverse and angular position of the wheel set relative to the rails, and also with a radio transmitter. Resistive strain sensors are located on the concentric diameter of the inner side of the wheel disc at different sides of the axis of the wheel set at the angles of 40°÷50° in respect to diametrical axes of the wheel disc.
