FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser soldering of two steel parts (1, 2) and can be used in motor car construction. Laser beam (3) and metal filler wire (4) are continuously displaced along connection line between two parts (1, 2) so that said laser beam (3 fuses continuously said filler wire (4) to make continuous weld (5) between two parts (1, 2). Shielding gas is blown onto said weld. Said shielding gas is a compressed air free of gases other than those contained in ambient air. Device comprises spryer to force air connected to compressed air source.
EFFECT: ruled out pore formation in the weld, higher quality.
