FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of hybrid laser-arc welding, which is carried out by means of electric arc and laser beam, combined with each other in single weld bath, into which molten metal is fed by melting of consumable wire. Welding bath is produced on at least one steel part containing aluminium-based surface coating. Process is carried out with shielding gas. Shielding gas is formed by at least one main component selected from among argon and helium, and at least one additional component selected from nitrogen and oxygen.
EFFECT: shielding gas contains from 1 % to 20 % by volume of said one additional component.
