FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of radiation therapy planning with visual control. Radiation therapy planning system comprises magnetic resonance (MR) scanner with first channel, which determines MR imaging area, which contains individual along longitudinal axis of MR, wherein first channel has diameter making at least of 70 cm, second imaging scanner with second channel, which determines second imaging area, which contains individual along second longitudinal axis, wherein second lengthwise axis is aligned with that of MR, and second channel has diameter making at least of 70 cm, wherein second imaging scanner is selected from group of: PET imaging scanner, SPECT imaging scanner, computer tomography imaging scanner, and couch for radiation therapy, displacing linearly along track of patient support through MR-visualisation area and second imaging area, which holds patient in field of MR-visualisation and second imaging, made with possibility of disconnection from track of patient support for use in radiation therapy. Method of generation or update of radiation therapy plan involves steps on which individual is placed on supported couch for radiation therapy in one of areas from the MR-visualisation of MR scanner and second imaging area of second imaging scanner, wherein second imaging scanner is PET imaging scanner or SPECT imaging scanner, obtained is MR-, or PET or SPECT representation of target volume and localisation of end volume relative to corresponding imaging, recorded is localised target volume in bed for radiation therapy and expected patient coordinates relative to couch for radiation therapy, individual is linearly moved along track of support from one of MR-visualisation area and second imaging area into another imaging area of second imaging scanner and MR scanner, which wherein have common longitudinal axis, representation of image of end volume by means of another scanner from second and MR scanner, MR- and second image representations are combined to joint image representation, and radiation therapy plan is generated or accordingly updated with received MR-and second image representations, and radiation therapy couch is disconnected from support patient track for use in radiation therapy.
EFFECT: using inventions enables higher accuracy of recording images.
