FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to systems of phototherapy. System for provision of phototherapy contains unit of radiation introduction, made with possibility to remain at least partially between subject's eyeball and eyelid during application and processor. Unit of radiation introduction is configured in such a way as to deliver electromagnetic radiation into subject's eyeball under subject's eyelid while subject is sleeping. Processor is configures for control of introduction of electromagnetic radiation into subject's eyeball by control of radiation parameters in order to influence levels of melatonin and/or serotonin for treatment of impairment of sleep, mood or other disorders by control of their levels. Control of electromagnetic radiation introduction by processor includes control of one or more of intensity, wavelength, flow, periodicity, duration, pulse frequency, duration of pulses, direction of illumination, picture of illumination or subtended angle of electromagnetic radiation illumination.
EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to influence subject's circadian rhythms and makes it possible to carry out treatment by phase advance.
