SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in machining materials by cutting tool with inserts of different types. Cutting tool comprises the body with seats to retain several types of detachable inserts. The seat comprises the insert bearing surface for insert bearing surface abutment. Seat bearing surface comprises first part to abut on the first-type insert first bearing surface and second part to abut on the second-type insert second bearing surface.
EFFECT: reliable clamping of seats, ease of chip removal.
