FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed cutting plate has top and bottom surfaces to make its face surfaces, and peripheral surface extending there between and comprising opposed front and rear and side surfaces. Besides it has through hole extending between front and rear surfaces and front cutting edge made on intersection of top front surfaces. Note that rear surface includes first and second sections located on opposite sides of said through hole nearby face surfaces. Locating element is arranged on first section to extend between face surfaces and includes two displaced first rear bearing surfaces arranged at oblique angle. Note also that two coplanar second bearing spaced apart surfaces are arranged on second section, on opposite sides of through hole.

EFFECT: reliable clamping of plate.
