FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: milled bite splint is made of zirconium dioxide and configured one-piece attachable to a lingual or palatal surfaces of immobilised natural teeth and covering 1.5 mm of their clinical equators. A lower border of the splint is configured attachable at 1 mm from a marginal border of the gum. The splint comprises artificial dental facings for missing teeth, connected with the splint one-piece and tightly adjoining clinical equators, limiting the defect by means of a point contact. The splint is made by milling a computer model prepared by recognising an optical imprint of the patient's oral clinical situation.
EFFECT: invention enables producing the adhesive dental splint with contained artificial facings, as may be required, with high adjoining accuracy, identical to the clinical situation, used for immobilising movable teeth because of periodontal diseases.
